GEMMACON is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Engineer, Upper Body Trims to join our Body Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of upper body trim components, ensuring high-quality materials, durability, and aerodynamic performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative exterior solutions that enhance GEMMACON’s cutting-edge vehicle lineup.   This position offers the opportunity to work with the top automotive brands in the world.

- Lead the design and development of upper body trims, including moldings, appliqués, seals, and decorative elements.   - Optimize materials, manufacturing processes, and fastening techniques to improve durability and aesthetics.   - Collaborate with design, aerodynamics, and manufacturing teams to integrate upper body trims seamlessly into the vehicle architecture.   - Conduct validation testing to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and performance standards.   - Work with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of trim components.   - Stay updated with industry trends and implement best practices in exterior trim development.  

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.   - 8 years of experience in upper body trims or exterior component development within the automotive industry.   - Strong knowledge of materials, surface finishing, and sealing technologies for exterior applications.   - Proficiency in CAD modeling, engineering design tools, and validation techniques.   - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
