GEMMACON is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer - Closures Structures to join our Body Structures team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of structural components within vehicle closure systems, including doors, hoods, and liftgates. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance structural integrity, weight efficiency, and manufacturability, ensuring GEMMACON’s vehicles meet the highest standards of performance and quality.   This position offers the opportunity to work with the top automotive brands in the world.

- Lead the development of structural components for vehicle closures, ensuring optimal strength, weight, and durability.   - Work with cross-functional teams to optimize material selection and manufacturing processes for closure structures.   - Conduct structural analysis and validation testing to meet crashworthiness and durability requirements.   - Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure efficient production and assembly of closure components.   - Identify and implement innovative structural solutions to improve performance and manufacturability.   - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in closures engineering and materials.  

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.   - 8 years of experience in closures structures engineering within the automotive industry.   - Strong expertise in structural analysis, material science, and joining technologies.   - Proficiency in CAD software and CAE tools for structural simulations.   - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
