GEMMACON is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer - BIW Upperbody to join our Body Structures team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of upper body structures within the body-in-white (BIW) architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure structural integrity, lightweight design, and manufacturability, contributing to GEMMACON’s mission of delivering high-performance, innovative vehicles.   This position offers the opportunity to work with the top automotive brands in the world.

- Lead the development of BIW upper body structures, ensuring compliance with safety, durability, and performance requirements.   - Optimize material selection and structural design to enhance crashworthiness, stiffness, and weight efficiency.   - Work closely with CAE, manufacturing, and design teams to refine BIW upper body structures for production feasibility.   - Utilize advanced simulation and testing methodologies to validate the strength and durability of BIW components.   - Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to integrate innovative materials and manufacturing processes.   - Stay updated with industry advancements and implement best practices in BIW upper body engineering.  

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.   - 8 years of experience in BIW upper body structure design and development within the automotive industry.   - Strong expertise in structural analysis, materials science, and joining technologies.   - Proficiency in CAD software and CAE tools for structural simulations.   - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
