GEMMACON is seeking an experienced Engineer - BIW Upperbody to join our Body Structures team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of upper body structures for GEMMACON’s vehicle lineup. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to engineer lightweight, high-strength body-in-white (BIW) structures that enhance safety, performance, and manufacturability.   This position offers the opportunity to work with the top automotive brands in the world.

- Design and develop BIW upper body structures, ensuring alignment with safety, durability, and performance standards.   - Optimize material selection and structural integrity for weight reduction and crashworthiness.   - Work closely with manufacturing, CAE, and design teams to refine BIW designs for production feasibility.   - Utilize advanced simulation and testing techniques to validate BIW upper body components.   - Collaborate with suppliers and partners to integrate the latest materials and joining technologies.   - Stay up to date with industry advancements and implement innovative solutions to enhance BIW structural performance. 

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.   - 7 years of experience in BIW upper body structure development within the automotive industry.   - Strong expertise in structural analysis, material science, and joining technologies.   - Experience with CAD software and CAE tools for structural simulations.   - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
