GEMMACON is seeking a highly skilled Design Release Engineer (DRE) JIT Front Row to join our Seating & Restraints team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing integration of front-row seating systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seat performance, comfort, and manufacturability while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.   This position offers the opportunity to work with the top automotive brands in the world.

- Lead the design and release of front-row seating components, ensuring alignment with performance, safety, and ergonomic requirements.   - Work closely with JIT manufacturing teams to optimize assembly and integration of seating systems.   - Conduct design validation, testing, and analysis to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.   - Collaborate with suppliers to drive innovation and ensure high-quality production of seating components.   - Support issue resolution during prototype builds, validation, and production ramp-up.   - Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into seating system development.  

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.   - 8 years of experience in automotive seating development, with expertise in JIT manufacturing processes.   - Strong knowledge of seat structures, comfort optimization, and safety regulations.   - Proficiency in CAD modeling, design validation, and structural analysis tools.   - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
