GEMMACON is seeking a detail-oriented Airbag Lab Technician to join our Seating & Restraints team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting tests and validations on airbag systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. You will work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to the continuous innovation of restraint and safety electronics, enhancing the performance and reliability of GEMMACON’s cutting-edge vehicles.   This position offers the opportunity to work with the top automotive brands in the world.

- Perform laboratory testing, validation, and analysis of airbag systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations.   - Assist in the setup, execution, and documentation of airbag deployment tests.   - Support the development of new restraint systems by providing accurate and reliable data.   - Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze test results and suggest improvements.   - Maintain lab equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.   - Stay updated with industry safety standards and contribute to process improvements. 

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.   - 6 years of experience in airbag testing or automotive safety systems.   - Strong understanding of safety regulations and crash testing methodologies.   - Hands-on experience with test equipment, data acquisition tools, and analysis software.   - Detail-oriented mindset with excellent documentation and problem-solving skills.
